Tom
Blair came to a saving knowledge of Messiah Yahshua
at age 12, but like many young people his life remained
much the same as it was before. He was raised in the
Methodist denomination, because that was the most
convenient congregation to his home. Tom’s life
began to change after he joined a strong youth group
during his high school years, where he learned what
a personal relationship with the Messiah meant. During
his senior year in high school, Tom received the call
to active ministry. Tom states, “I tried all
the popular excuses much like Moses did at the burning
bush, and just like in Moses’ case, none worked”.
Out of excuses, he was left with only one option,
and that was to run away. He ran for the next several
years. He ran down a path that ultimately became very
dark, and led to a life style of heavy drug and alcohol
addictions. Usually this lifestyle leads to one of
two places, either the penitentiary or the cemetery,
and Tom was no exception. It was only after he was
taken to the cardiac unit at a local hospital with
a blood pressure of 211 over 157 and a heart rate
of 189, and death seemed eminent, that he was able
to let go of the world, repent, and that night he
rededicated his life. That same night Tom made a miraculous
recovery, and was released from the hospital. Step
by step, Yahweh loved him back into a personal relationship
so that he could answer the call that was made many
years prior, giving precedent to Romans 11:29 that
states “For the free gifts and calling of Yahweh
without repentance.” Tom states, that “it
is only by Father’s grace that he is even alive,
much less anything else.” Today Tom ministers
to the body with a message of hope and renewal.
After
the process of recovery and reconciliation, Tom Blair
followed the path of ordination. He received his Masters
degree in theology from SMU and began serving in the
Methodist Denomination in 1995. It was during this
time that the Father began teaching him about not
only the Hebraic roots of Christianity, but his own
family affiliation with the tribe of Judah.
After
leaving the Methodist Denomination in 2000, Tom began
Olive Branch Ministries, a ministry of restoration,
reconciliation and recovery because that is what he
has experienced in his life of recovery through the
love of the Father. His primary focus is on restoring
Kingdom vision to the body of Messiah while teaching
the Spiritual principles of the Gifts of the Spirit
and Spiritual Authority.
Tom
teaches at a wide variety of congregations, conferences,
holds seminars and charges no fee for his services
or any of his written or recorded materials. The ministry
website www.sonsofzadok.com receives visitors from
people all around the world and has had tremendous
feedback.
