I hope you don't mind my addressing a concern about
your website...
When I clicked on the link labeled "About Us,"
I found the following commentary, which I wholeheartedly
agree with:
"We believe in the absolute validity of the
scriptures, and the Torah as our Heavenly Fathers
instruction for correct relationship, both our relationships
toward one another and our relationship with Him.
We believe that Messiah Himself validated this point
in Matthew 22:37-40."
Again, I support the view expressed in the above
quotation, and I believe it was very well-worded.
However, I couldn't help but notice that you apparently
do not conduct worship services on the weekly Sabbath,
instead opting to do so on Sunday. Here is what I
found when I clicked on the link labeled "Local
Congregation":
Meeting Times
SUN 10:30 AM & 6:30 PM
WED 6:30 PM
Could you please explain why you meet on Sundays
while simultaneously expressing the view that the
Torah is our Heavenly Father's instruction for correct
relationship with Him and others?
Yours in Messiah,
Larry
OUR REPLY:
Larry asked about our meeting
on Sundays, the deal is that we have folks that hold
Shabbat on Saturdays, Sundays and even by the Lunar
cycle. We simply find that this is the easiest way
to come together and for the lost sheep of Israel
to find a fellowship that can be easily attended.
Once a person comes here, it is up to them to study
and abide in what they believe is the "Truth."
Those that believe other doctrines are not shunned
away, we greet everyone with the same love and compassion
shown us by our Heavenly Father. The thing to remember
is that we are ONE body and Yahweh has each of us
exactly where HE needs us, because through HIS sovereignty
we all are able to come to salvation through Yeshua
ha Mashiach.
Todah,
Steven
